Details

Monday actually comprises three classes which harmonise together and also stand alone:

6-7pm taichi and energetic bodywork - learn to root, build your hara - your energetic centre, to move powerfully and to join the natural flow of life.
7-8pm yoga as taught and practiced in Zen monasteries - explore alignment and flexibility, the power of body-centred focus; open your body for more comfortable and deeper sitting meditation; re-charge and re-vitalize your system.
8-9pm Zazen - sitting meditation - Daizan Roshi teaches you how to find radiant good health, strong energy and powerful confidence according to the system established by Zen Master Hakuin. On this foundation he teaches the four traditional meditation practices of Zen, only two of which are known in the west and only one of which is currently much practiced.

The price is £9 for one class, £16 for two classes and £19 for three classes. After paying room rental, any surplus money goes towards establishing a Zen temple in the UK, restoring Daizan Roshi's temple in Japan, and towards a number of charities including - Survival International, Oxfam and Medicins Sans Frontiers.

We have a meeting at the same location on Sundays - 3-6pm.
