PasaDharma Zen Group is open to people of all spiritual traditions and walks of life who would like to experience the life changing practice of meditation and awareness. We have been meeting in Pasadena for over 10 years. We get together in Pasadena CA, on Thursday nights for a brief discussion of aspects of Zen Buddhism, to sit zazen, and to share fellowship with other like minded people. Normaly 12 to 15 people attend our weekly meeting. We invite anyone wishing to experience the dynamic stillness of Zen practice to join us.
We are open to anyone interested in Zen, neophyte or experienced practitioner. There is no charge for our meeting, donations are accepted, and we won't make you sign up for anything! We have quite a few floor cushions, but feel free to bring your own. Chairs are also available. So, come on out and discuss your practice informally, meet each other, and of course, just sit.
If this is your first time visiting us, or if you have never sat silent concentration meditation (zazen), we strongly recommend that you RSVP and plan on arriving early for introductory instruction at 6:30pm, immediately before our regular 7:00pm meeting. Our web site is http://pasadharma.org
